Loan Administrator- Bruning Location

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The position of the Loan Administrator is to provide support to the loan officers by preparing loan documents and updating and organizing loan files. The Loan Administrator is also expected to assist customers with loan related questions, documents, and payments. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree with 1-3 years of loan administration experience; OR,
  • High School Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of loan administration experience; OR,
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Bank Management

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Work with the Director of Loan Administration for changes in processing software, procedures and regulations 
  • Perform general word processing and filings for loan officers
  • Prepare loan documents with high level of accuracy
  • Scan and maintain credit files
  • Receive and post loan payments
  • Book loans onto the system
  • Review legal documentation, title reports, insurance policies, flood certificates, etc.
  • Create and maintain ticklers for outstanding documentation 
  • Work cooperatively with loan officers to ensure proper documentation in an effective and efficient manner
  • Actively participate in customer, community, and public relation activities to increase the bank’s visibility and to enhance new business opportunities 
  • Cross-sell the bank’s services to customers 
  • Comply with bank policies, operations, and security procedures
  • Maintain customer confidence and protect the bank operations by keeping information confidential 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Responsible to the Bruning location’s Loan Officer/Vice President for the successful performance of assigned responsibilities. Also, has key relationship with the bank’s Director of Loan Administration.
  • Seeks assistance and advice from other bank personnel as needed, to assure the successful performance of assigned responsibilities. 

METHODS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

Through both oral and written reports to immediate and department supervisors.

  • Working knowledge of personal computer, including Microsoft Office products
